I believe in miracles because my eldest son, at eighteen months, suffered kidney failure with dialysis, respiratory failure, blood transfusions, tube feeding, and a hole in his lung (from birth). He was in Pediatric ICU at Brenner's Children's Hospital for one month. And then he got better...against all odds. And when they decided to go in and do the surgery to remove the valve from the dialysis, they wanted to repair the lung. THERE WAS NO LONGER A HOLE! The doctors said there was NO medical explanation for this. I have to focus on this and remind myself that miracles happen and I CAN GET BETTER!
